Happy Spring ! Save the Date for several fun local charity events…

It is hard to believe that our very harsh winter is over (ha!) and Spring is here which means the kick-off to the South Bay’s action packed Charity season. The following events are some of my favorites, not only are they always a really fun time, but they all benefit very deserving local charities that were started by good friends of mine. So, without further delay, here is the run down…

Thursday April 10th– The 5th Annual “Cocktails for a Cause” benefiting Kids Play Intl. Join 3 x Olympian, Tracy Evans along with The Irish Girls for a fun night of wine tasting, music, appetizers and a silent auction all in the courtyard of the Shade Hotel in Manhattan Beach. To purchase tickets, go to www.kidsplayintl.org

Friday June 6th – Grade’s of Green’s Annual Verte 2014. This is always a great event with amazing entertainment, a great silent auction and fun surprise honorees benefiting Manhattan Beaches own, www.Gradesofgreen.org .

Saturday June 14th – 20th Annual Manhattan Beach Wine Auction benefiting the Manhattan Beach Education Foundation. Mark your calendars as tickets go on sale May 1st at www.Manhattanwineauction.com and usually sell out within a few hours. Grab your friends and go for a fun night of wine tasting under the stars at the Manhattan Beach Country Club.

Saturday July 19th – The 8th Annual White Light White Night Party benefiting another fabulous local charity, Walk with Sally.  This is a very special night with everyone dressed in their favorite white attire enjoying the sounds of a soon to be announced big name artist, bidding on amazing items in the enormous silent auction and sampling food and drinks from many local restaurants with a “Taste of the Southbay”. More information will be coming soon but make sure to put these events on your calendar so you don’t miss out. In the meantime, enjoy this fabulous spring weather and I look forward to seeing you on the Southbay Charity circuit soon.
